As we begin a new year, many will no doubt have goals and targets they wish to meet or achieve in the months ahead. Goals that will usually edge them closer to a dream life or a more desired situation they have imagined.
This verse refers to a story in which the goal for Jesus was to feed 5000+ people having only five loaves and two fish. The story continued that Jesus blessed and broke the loaves, giving them to his disciples to share among the people. Do you think Jesus succeeded? If you are not already familiar with the story, the answer is a resounding “yes!”. Everyone was fed, full and there were even leftovers.
An important technique in you achieving your goals this year will be to bless your goals – ask God to help you accomplish them, then break it down sufficiently and effectively. The next few posts will be dedicated to helping you do just that. But for now, we will set out an outline:
